Diploma Course to be a Qigong Instructor

This course in year 2 is directed at practitioners with experience of Qigong practice, or who have passed the exams of the foundation course.

This course is held in conjunction and association with the Beidaihe Qigong Institute and the Qigong Laboratory of Beijing University of TCM. Part of course will be taught in the Beidaihe Qigong Institute and Beijing Academy of TCM. The course is taught over a period of two years in the evenings, weekends or some public holidays. Graduates will receive a diploma from the Beidaihe Qigong Institute, validated by the China National Qigong Education Centre and the LAQ&TCM.

Apart from the content of the foundation course, the following contents will be covered:
  • Brief introduction to Buddhist Qigong.
  • Introduction to Taoist Qigong.
  • Introduction to Confucius Qigong.
  • Introduction to martial arts Qigong.
  • Introduction to folk Qigong.
  • Modern research on Qigong (part two).
  • Basic theory of anatomy and physiology of the human body part one.
  • Introduction and practice of the four Qigong exercises for health, revised and promoted by China Sports Commission in 2003 i.e. eight brocade Qigong exercises, five animals Qigong exercises, six healing sounds Qigong exercises & tendon changing Qigong exercises (part two).
  • Practise healthcare Qigong exercises practiced in Beidaihe Qigong Institute (part two).
  • Practise four forms of medical Qigong (part two).
  • Teach a set of Taoist Qigong exercises (part one).
  • Teach a set of Taoist Qigong exercises specially designed for keeping young and fit (part one).
  • Teach a set of bodyweight-control Qigong exercises (part one).
  • Teach some Qigong exercises which have been used clinically in the Beidaihe Qigong Institute (part two).
  • Teach simplified Taiji exercises.
  • Introduction to Qigong deviation and a prevention system (part two).
  • Ethics and code of a Qigong instructor.
  • A recognized First Aid course.
  • A clinical observation and study in China.
