This course in Year 3 is designed for people who have already qualified in Year 2 and wish to be a qualified Qigong therapist. The course, which will be taught at weekends, evenings, or some bank holidays, will emphasize the training of how to prescribe different Qigong exercises according the patient’s individual conditions. If you are practitioners of alterative medicine, or candidates already professionally qualified in a medical or paramedical field, your fees will be reduced accordingly. Some of the course will be taught in China. Graduates will receive a diploma as a Medical Qigong Therapist from the Beidaihe Qigong Hospital and the London Academy.
The following content will be covered for this course:- The introduction to basic diagnosis of TCM.
- A set of Taoist Qigong exercises specially designed for keeping young and fit (part three).
- Teach a set of bodyweight-control Qigong exercises (part three).
- Teach some Qigong exercises which have been used clinically in the Beidaihe Qigong Institute (part three).
- Clinical application of Qigong based on different systems of TCM and modern medicine.
- Medical Qigong prescriptions on diseases based on TCM and modern medicine.
- Introduction to Qi emission and its application.
- The introduction of Qigong acupressure and its application.
- The combination of Qigong therapy and other TCM therapies.
- Selection of teachings from some ancient classical books on Qigong and T.C.M.
- Writing up of patient records, case study.
- The first aid course.
- Teach Wu style Taiji exercises and Taiji sword.
Although the courses are designed to be completed within a certain number of years, it is possible by arrangement to take this course over a longer period. The contents of these courses may change. For example, some experts may be delayed in coming to the UK to teach due to visa restrictions etc.
