Vice Director of the Hebei Medical Qigong Hospital,and Director of China National Qigong Education Centre, Prof. Liu is the official successor in the practice of the internal-nourishing Qigong exercises devised by her father Dr.Guizheng Liu, with whom she has been studying Qigong and Taiiji since childhood. She has also studied Taiji with Master Li.
Since graduating from Tianjing College of TCM, she has worked in Beidaihe Qigong Institute as a doctor. In 1994 she was appointed as Director of Research in the department of Qigong at Beidaihe Qigong Institute. She was also Director of the China National Qigong Education Centre. In 1998 she was promoted to Vice Director of Beidaihe Qigong Institute as a result of her achievement in the field of Medical Qigong.
She has visited more than ten countries to lecture on Medical Qigong, and has established a base for Internal-Nourishing Qigong in Japan and France. She will soon open a London base in cooperation with London Academy of Qigong & TCM.
